The CSA is looking for volunteers to fill the position of provincial or territorial representative, who will organize a local chapter of the Canadian Spondylitis Association in their province or territory.
Responsibilities
As a provincial or territorial representative you will be responsible for the development of a chapter of the Canadian Spondylitis Association in your province or territory. This will include building a chapter executive or committee and a network of branches (support groups) within your province or territory; providing leadership to the branch leaders; increasing membership of the chapter and association; arranging and coordinating educational events local and national, providing reports on provincial/territorial events; initiating and organizing advocacy efforts where appropriate; fundraising; creating awareness of spondyloarthritis; and liaising with medical professionals as appropriate.

You should expect to attend a 1-hour teleconference every month and devote 2 to 3 hours a week to the development and affairs of your chapter.
